Table Top Surface

Here is a rather gravity defying view of the top of the gaming surface. I enjoy games such as Mage Knight in addition to RPGs, so this surface was important as well. We chose linoleum because it is cheap, durable, and takes dry and wet erase markers just fine. Cat is provided for scale and gravity mockery.

All told, I probably spent around $600 on raw materials for the table. I figured that I'd probably spend $300 on the thing, but once you purchase all of the switches, lights, spheres, glass, lumber, glue, screws, wires, aluminum stock, speakers, etc., it all adds up quick. However, somebody would have to be insane to sell one for less than many thousands of dollars. Nope, it's not for sale, so don't ask.
