This is a view of the GM Station, from above. (I'm standing on the top linoleum surface.) From here you can see that the ledge along the linoleum is lined with aluminum stock and set with big, bulky screws.

I always need more space as a GM. I now use a laptop, so the massive monitor is now gone. When Ben & I started this project, we wanted to hide the monitor into the table top. However, this proved to be too much of a hassle, especially with flat screen monitor prices falling. The MDS took over any space that we might have thought we had for a big monitor.
