GM Station

A standing view of the Game Master Station. You can see 5 of the 6 message delivery system (MDS) "send holes", the individual on/off switches for the player stations below those, the deck prism light, and my old PC. I'm a Mac guy myself, but can't quite afford a laptop just yet. I use the computer to access the Agyris website during play, and it also is used to play my collection of mp3 soundtracks.

The GM Station also has a larger glass panel to put papers beneath. It is backed with a mica sheet. Just below that, you can see the keyboard shelf (which slides), and one of the "returns" for the MDS. When a player sends back a message sphere, they roll back there, next to my feet.

My brother in law Dirk gave me this PC for gaming. I've got my own G4 Mac that I operate for Graphic Design use, but I do that in a separate part of the house. Dirk bought a better machine, and donated this one for our cause. Today, I now use a Powerbook to peruse the Agyris site, and to play mp3s for atmospheric music and sound effects. GarageBand, by Apple, is also great for creating custom soundtracks.
