A closeup of an individual player station lamp. It
is an old glass telephone pole insulator, and is on
a dimmer.
I had this idea that we had to use glass insulators
for lights. I've been wanting to use them for years
for something, as I bought them a few years back for
curtain finial ends. (I'm nutz) After spending hours
in the hardware stores, we managed to find some electrical
housing thingy that the glass insulator would sort of
fit on. We siliconed in a plastic plumbing fitting that
would screw into the metal housing that you see above.
