There are several people that have made this website possible, through their great passion, hard work, and creative energies. I feel honored to call them all "friends".
Brent "Stenchling" Carey - Code/Site Architect/Jack of Many Trades . I must begin with Brent, because it was with his urging, that we developed the Agyris site. (He created the *very* first version in the mid 1990's, which wasn't intended for the web at all, but was a desktop application that he made for me to reduce the need for all of my pesky binders.) Brent has spent countless hours creating the backend of this site, fixing my errors, and coding it to make it work better, faster, and in a more interesting way. Brent is also an accomplished linguist, and has expanded Guttertongue, and added to the content all over the place. Thank you Brent for making this project happen!
Shannon "Voya" Potratz - Conceptual Illustrator. Shannon is my inspiration, illustrating my ideas, and making them look better than I could imagine. I met Shannon in 1994, and he started illustrating Agyris in 1995. Shannon is responsible for the conceptual design for nearly every creature, god, and race in Agyris. Sometimes he'd illustrate a very specific idea that I had; other times, I would say "I want a race to replace orcs; really stocky, these guys wear the heaviest armor possible," and he'd deliver the Skorr. I can guarantee that without Shannon, Agyris wouldn't be half as developed. You see, when Shannon draws, he inspires me to work harder; he captures my imagination. I can't thank you enough, Shannon.
Ben "Mighty Hands" Hunter - Illustrator/Fantasy Buff/Writer. I met Ben through Shannon, probably in 1995. Ben is also a fantastic illustrator, and has illustrated tons of creatures, characters, and character portraits. Not only that, but Ben has also contributed a great deal of guidance in terms of the "Heroes Journey" and good fantasy in general. (He keeps us honest.) Ben is also responsible for the first Sister Site of Agyris, the Adventures in Agyris play-by-post game. Ben has developed one of the most detailed and interesting places in Agyris; Tevet. I bounce ideas off of Ben, and he usually has something to say to make the idea better. Ben also built the Ultimate Game Table with my help. I really can't say enough about Ben and his contributions. Thank you for always listening to me, and for your guidance, talent, and hard work, Ben.
Rob "Alkhound" Tomlinson - Coder/Game Guru/Host/Fix it man . Brent I and met Rob at a web development firm that we worked at. Rob and I hit it off, since we both have a love for games, and Brent and Rob hit it off because they'e both talented coders. Rob has done a great deal of work on Agyris too, coding much of the core site, adding supplemental database-driven sections, write interfacing, and fixing thousands of my messups. Rob also hosts Agyris, which is a great relief to me as he does a great job. Thank you Rob for letting me torture you!
Travis Trent - Writer/Gamemaster. Travis is the first person to ever experience Gyr as a player, and has contributed hundreds of ideas and concept to the world. He co-authored the Bell concept, created the Wythir, and has developed tons of Agyris "stuff". He's a darned good writer too, though his spelling is brutal. :) Travis is responsible for "Kelpwood", and is currently running a fantastic campaign set in Kelpwood's Northlands. Thanks Trav, for your endless contributions and passion for fantasy & gaming.
Daniel Davis - Creative Lead/Designer/Cheerleader. Well, I hate to talk about myself all the time, but this Agyris thing is mostly my fault. I write most of the Agyris content, and I maintain and design the website graphics. I owe everyone listed on this page a debt of thanks.
Honored Gamers - These people have contributed to Agyris through their interesting and fantastic play. It also includes all of the above mentioned souls, as they are great gamers too!
Curtis & Lena Cooley - Curtis plays my favorite mages ever, and Lena my favorite battle queens! These guys have seen it all, and always game with a great attitude and fun. Curtis helps develop the Fey of Agyris.
Rob & Keith Proctor - Rob and Keith are brothers, and have played some of the most interesting characters ever. "Arr" Rob has contributed greatly to the Drann, and he named the Ogra. These guys are a blast to game with.
Jaysen Carter & Jennifer - Best Antharian Vosir ever, hands down. Now I know that "a Vosir never runs." New to gaming, Jennifer is developing nicely and always comes to have a good time.
Grant Holloway - One of the most creative players ever, Grant added richness and depth to the Yaro.
Chad Trent - Chad hasn't gamed for a long time, but he was a blast to game with, and put in about 1600 bazillion hours gaming.
Blaize Carey - The youngest Agyrian gamer ever, Blaize always could be relied upon to do what is least expected.
