Faeyan |

Bria Tael - (PageQuestor) - You used to defend the Mist Island
as an archer and far-watcher, and you've proven yourself to be dependable
and worthy. However, you've different than the average Faeyan; you have
a thirst for learning the stories and songs of other cultures, and you
know how to keep a secret. Because of your traits and talents you've
been handpicked as a candidate to become a Harilikain, but you must
prove your ability to survive in the outside world. Your task: recover
a relic of your lost heritage - a page from the great book of song;
the "Magnum Chantus". You have been given information that
leads you to far away Sirvat to quest for your page. If you return successfully,
you may be invited to become an official Harlikain.
Equipment & Supplies: A 2200 year-old silver
flute that was made by your ancestors, a gray leather travel cloak, one set
of superb linen clothes, an armored sung-wood vest, soap, a silver Faeyan place
setting (18 pieces), 10 songspice fruits, a quill and ink set, 20 songspice
cakes, a small lantern w/a vial of high quality oil, 40 spans of silk rope,
a Bria longbow with a quiver of 35 silver-tipped arrows, a journal to record
all of your travels and discoveries (to be "turned in" upon your return),
a long knife, a linen bedroll, and a pair of great quality walking boots made
in Daria and blessed by Tothar.
Gifts: A clear voice and natural pitch, a citizen of the Faeyan Nation.
Faults: Naive.
Minstrel Adventurer - You have wanderlust. Some say that you
lack the discipline to become a Harlikaine, but you know that kind of
structure is not what life is all about. You love to travel, and have
gone where the 7 Winds have taken you. You've played in seedy pubs,
accompanied dancing girls, and even played for the Courts of Lords.
Perhaps you've made some friends that you tour with, and you now find
yourself involved in high adventure. Sure, there aren't great crowds
to serenade in those old dusty ruins, but your skills in ancient lyrics
and history have come in handy with your new friends.
Asidri Pilgrim - You are on a pilgrimage to find any lost traces of
the Asidri, the high ancestors of the Faeyan. You feel it is important to find
your Asidri roots because you know that their secrets will ensure your race's
survival. (You are also an orphan, and you don't feel like you fit into the
close-knit Aethos society.) You are looking for any traces of the glorious Asidri
culture - sites, trinkets, stories, ruins, tablets, weapons, and artifacts.
You have been able to locate a few song-beads, but they are in the possession
of a corrupt Sirvati merchant. He has no right to "own" your heritage.
You must retrieve them in any way possible, and then follow up on those stories
that you read about in the library.. You cannot rest until you've found the
lost Asidri retreat. You're willing to become a warrior, explorer, and even
a thief to succeed.
