Waik is a form of dark Fey that is thought to be centered around the Foul Bell. Although it's practitioners covet its secrets, it is thought that Waik utilizes pain, agony, and the consumption of souls to achieve powerful results. Some believe that Waik is manipulated through the use of Bells, and is often activated through a bell's call or knell. These same detractors say that Waik corrupts the soul.

Some folk say that Waik doesn't even exist, that it is a fabrication made by those who don't believe in the Wonderbell. They say that the lie of Waik was created to undermine belief in the Wonderbell, and to confuse the masses.

I for one believe that Waik is indeed real, though I'm not sure whether or not it is tied to any Bell, Foul or Wondrous. Bell or not, Waik is certainly a black art that leads to treachery and corruption. Look closely with your own eyes, and reveal the lie.

Waik - The Truth Revealed - by Lady Cei Minth

There has been much talk about "Waik" recently. I have been concerned, because the nature of these conversations seem to stem from misconceptions and pure propaganda generated by Pentath Syndicate. The Pentath hate the Bell, and all that it stands for. They only wish to bring destruction down upon all of us, and they know that the Bell is Gyr's last salvation. It is the Pentath who say that Waik is evil; examine the sources of the rumors that you hear, and you shall find hate, anger and jealousy.

Yes, Waik is a real Fey, and yes it is tied to a Bell; The Wonderbell. Waik is the first of many new gifts coming when we are led to the brilliant Bellage. In the new Bellage there will be no war, no hunger, and no hate. But before the rightous can claim our Age, we must be willing to fight for what is ours. The Pentath will attempt to thwart our every move.

Waik is the weapon that will allow us to win our war. The Pentath know this, and are attempting to fool you into forsaking our real source of power. We will not let them take Waik from our grasp.

Every soul who wishes to learn Waik may, as there are no restrictions placed on any person, race, or lineage. It is the first Fey that is not tied to any demanding God, and that is the people's magic. It is more powerful than Celatrin and Keiro, more dependable than Phann, and less demanding than Ato.

Waik is the perfect Fey.
