Ato - The Atosian Legacy

Ato - The relic magical knowledge of the Atosians, practiced only by the TeÕwyth, and Maejir. Though the magic of the two civilizations is similar, it is not interchangeable. For some unknown reason, races that are not TeÕwyth or Maejir seldom survive for long practicing the art. (It seems to consume them.) Ato is primarily an aggressive Fey, used for radically changing the order of things, or for causing violent reactions. Many believe that Ato is very hard on the structure of the Symphony and that it is a foreign magic to Gyr. Most spells in this school utilize sacrificial components, withermaking or soultapping. Non-Atosi Ato creations seldom last longer than an age.
