Welcome to Agyris - World of the Bell

Agyris is the World of the Bell, a massive RPG world of fantastic new myth. Though it is understandably inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien, hopefully it is unlike anything that you've ever experienced before. Please take a few moments (or weeks or months) to explore our proof that fantasy is not dead! Use the menu above to find your way around. This is an encyclopedia of a fantasy world, and on it's own, it is not a game. At least, not yet.

For whatever reason you are here, welcome! Please tell your kin about Agyris, the world of the bell.

Over at Steam Crow central, we've been working on this "official" San Diego Comic-Con exclusive print:

Steam Crow exclusive print for the San Diego Comic-Con

I was attempting to evoke vintage film posters of the past, when I illustrated this Monster Commute print. It features Chadworth, Kip and Beastio, along with the villains of MonCom: Baba Jaga, Toni Oni, and a dispicable CrowBot. It was a lot of fun, and I'm really happy how it turned out.

With exclusive prints like this, we have to follow Comicon's rules:

  • We can only sell 50 per day

  • Limit 1 per person

  • No lines! (Nope, they're not allowed.)

Here are some of the details about the print:

  • Measures 12x18 inches

  • Printed on really nice 50 yr archival film

  • Satin matte finish

  • Limited edition of 150 pieces

  • Signed and numbered by me, Daniel m. Davis

  • Sold only at booth #4207

Our Emerald City Comicon (ECCC) exclusive print sold out in around an hour, so if you'd like one of these, you need to come get one early.

If you happen to be going to SDCC, stop by and say "hi!"

I hope you like it, and feel free to use the image on your blog or news site.

Monster Commute

Long time, no post.

I've just been busy at work on the Monster Commute comic pretty much daily.

It's a webcomic about a beast and a robot stuck on a steampunk, monster highway. Really, it's about more than that, once you get first the first 100 strips or so. Then I get to world building; not unlike what I've done here on Agyris.

I still have hopes and plans for Agyris; I am just sorely in need of some programming help to bring this site into the modern era.

So, I'm sure you've been hearing about the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) at every turn these days.

It's an awesome bundle of amazing sights, cool products, and media stars... I love it. Sure, it's about comics, but it's also about games, movies, comics, art, artists... on and on.

We've been prepping for this one all year, really going gonzo the last couple of months building our factory booth. It's looking good, though as always, there is more to do on it.

We'll be debuting our new KlawBerry Plush dolls, which we're quite excited about. Limited edition, every doll comes with a certificate that's in the form of a Monster Passport. It's kinda cool.

I've written a series of 3 articles about Surviving the SDCC, if you happen to be going:

Survive San Diego Comic-Con 1
Survive San Diego Comic-Con 2
Survive San Diego Comic-Con 3

Anyway, check us out at booth #4602 if you happen to be going.

If you're not able to go, you're welcome to check out our Steam Crow website; it's not quite as fun, but there are no crowds to cramp your style.
